Inspiring, Educating & Advocating
Zach Tidwell is a blind Marine Corps veteran and suicide survivor best known for his lighthearted approach to the hard topics in life and his ability to inspire others.

Welcome
When Zach was brought off of life support after his suicide attempt, he was confronted with the fact that the bullet had only succeeded in destroying a portion of his skull and leaving him completely blind and deaf in one ear. But he had a new perspective, and chose to take on every challenge life through his way, taking every opportunity to transform his mistake into something that could change the lives of others.
He relearned how to do everything, from brushing his teeth to walking, and was back in college, living on his own, and snowboarding again within the first year-and-a-half. When technological limitations made college inaccessible for him, he decided to drop out and teach himself how to code so he could become part of the solution, continually pushing forward as he battled with alcoholism and receiving the news that he had the incurable, deadly genetic disease called Huntington’s Disease that would eventually strip him of his mind.
He’s now a sober, award-winning software developer and entrepreneur ensuring people with disabilities aren’t being left behind in our technological world. He skis, rock climbs, whitewater kayaks, surfs, and competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu against people without any disabilities. And he shares his story and insights to save lives, educate, and motivate others to see that, excluding the laws of physics, what’s “possible” is merely a suggestion.
